On this page:

The sites in this category incorporate much of the information which is included in the subsequent site categories, plus many more photos, etc. After Leni's own official site, above, these sites (listed in alphabetical order) could be regarded as primary sources for information about her:

For recent English-language news items which have appeared on-line, see LeNiews — Leni Riefenstahl in the News (updated regularly on this site!).
For additional news, see also Patrick Zarate's page/section at...

There are so many, many short biographies of Leni Riefenstahl available on the internet that it's relatively pointless to provide a listing of them all, particularly in light of the fact that the vast majority of them provide little information about her life and career beyond the short period that she did work for the NSDAP (not to mention that they frequently contain glaring errors — and very often the same, oft-repeated errors). See also the Major Fan Sites section, above.

See also the Major Fan Sites section, above, or for images related to specific films, see the Image Galleries and/or Web Links sections of the pages on this site for those films.

- Marlene Dietrich, Anna May Wong, Leni Riefenstahl, Berlin, 1928
The classic photo by Alfred Eisenstaedt — and it's just one photo, but well worth the look! Interestingly, they state that one can order a copy of the photo (which would have been wonderful), after several inquiries it would appear that's not the case.

- Don Carlos: "Der Triumph"
Not directly related to Leni, but this is a musical piece by Don Carlos which is described as "...a surrealistic Mix of avantgarde music. It is with a part of Leni Riefenstahl's 'Olympia - Fest der Schönheit, Fest der Freuden.'" More accurately, however, it intersperses excerpts from Triumph, not Olympia — it's odd that they made that error in the description, although they were certainly accurate in describing it as "surrealistic" and "avantgarde"!
- NPR: Weekend Edition for Sunday, April 28, 2002: Leni Riefenstahl
A recent interview with Leni, discussing in part her work on Triumph.

This one-reel microfilm collection provides a historical context within which to view and study the movie. It includes transcripts of the American Army interrogation of Leni Riefenstahl in 1945, the complete Riefenstahl file from the Berlin Documents Center, documentation on other films she made, personal and official correspondence, a genealogy of Riefenstahl, and newspaper clippings.
