Below are two downloadable screensavers (for Windows® platform only) for your enjoyment! With regard to the version numbering, please note that this is the first version of the Leni's Impressions Screensaver, and no future updates for that particular screensaver are currently planned or expected. However, with regard to the Leni's Rising Star screensaver, this is currently version "2" (the first version, which was available — somewhat redundantly — at three different monitor resolutions, has now been discontinued), and the second part of the version number (currently "36") is in fact a reference to the number of images included in this version. As additional downloadable wallpapers (backgrounds) are added to the site, this screensaver will also be updated as well (not necessarily as each new wallpaper is added, but at least annually, or however frequently as appropriate).

Please Note: Installing both screensavers at the same time may cause a conflict! This may not be the case on your system, however, it is recommended that you only have one or the other screensaver installed at any particular time.

Leni's Rising Star Screensaver

This screensaver features 36 of the wallpapers featured on both the Digital Art Wallpapers and Das blaue Licht Wallpapers pages, with background music (optional) also from Das blaue Licht.

The default settings (upon installation) for this screensaver are:

• Images play in random sequence ("shuffle" mode) — can be configured to play in consecutive ("normal") order;
• Images change every 20 seconds (configurable);
• Multiple transition effects (non-configurable);
• Slow transitions between images — can be configured to a faster rate;
• Background audio featuring Giuseppe Becce's theme to the 1952 version of Das blaue Licht (also available separately on the Leni Riefenstahl Audio Downloads page) — can be configured so that the audio is muted when the screensaver activates.

Note: After installation, all of the wallpapers featured in the screensaver can also be used as desktop backgrounds (designed for a monitor resolution of 1024x768, but easily "shrunk-to-fit" for lower resolutions), and naturally the background audio (which is in MP3 format) can be played separately as well. See the "readme" file included with your download for more info.

Leni's Impressions Screensaver ~NEW!~

This screensaver features a total of 60 selected underwater photographs by Leni Riefenstahl, with an accompanying "bubbly" sound effect (optional).

The default settings (upon installation) for this screensaver are:

• Images play in consecutive ("normal") order — can be configured to play in random sequence ("shuffle" mode);
• Images change every 20 seconds (configurable);
• Single "fade" transition effect (non-configurable);
• Slow transitions between images — can be configured to a faster rate;
• Background audio featuring an underwater "bubbly" sound effect (created from a few seconds of audio captured from Ray Müller's 1993 documentary, The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl, edited and lengthened specifically for use in this screensaver by Leni's Rising Star) — can be configured so that the audio is muted when the screensaver activates.

Note: The images featured in this screensaver are encrypted and cannot be used as desktop backgrounds.
