A film of the Seventh Party Rally of the National Socialists, which took place from September 10th to September 16th, 1935, in Nuremberg. Unlike Triumph des Willens of earlier that year and the previous year's Der Sieg des Glaubens, the focus of this film was solely on the German army. However, as with those films, although generally considered to be a "propaganda film," unlike the typical propaganda films put out by the Nazi party at that time, Tag der Freiheit contains no running commentary and could technically rather be considered to be a documentary film — once again, though, how any film is used by any particular group is naturally an entirely different matter.
